Alex Zamora

I’m a Spanish artist and designer based in Amsterdam, working across ceramics, spatial design, and event-based formats. My practice combines hands-on material work with a strong focus on atmosphere, functionality, and experience. I develop both sculptural and functional ceramic pieces, while also creating and hosting workshops, installations, and small-scale events through my studio platform, STEM. Alongside my independent work, I have experience collaborating with artists, brands, and institutions in production, set design, and visual direction. I’m used to working in dynamic environments where practical problem-solving and adaptability are key. I’m particularly interested in contexts where making, sharing knowledge, and creating meaningful experiences come together — whether through workshops, collaborative projects, or public-facing formats.
