I see myself as a wellbeing practitioner with an academic background as a creative facilitator, drawing on diverse forms of art to bring people together and guide them back to themselves and to one another. Over the past three years, I have worked in mental health within community services, supporting the wellbeing of young people and families. My earlier experience as a teacher gave me the ability to guide groups with structure and clarity, while my mental health expertise allows me to listen deeply to individual needs and weave them into a shared journey of creativity, self-growth, reflection, reconnection, compassion, and confidence. I view my role as that of a captain steering a ship: together we sail towards the unspoken stories that lie beneath the surface, revisiting them with kindness and gentleness, allowing creativity to be both anchor and compass.
