I am Leyla Salm — an artist, designer, curator, and cultural entrepreneur with a passion for making art and heritage accessible to diverse audiences. My multidisciplinary practice draws deeply from Art Nouveau, Symbolism, and Art Deco, weaving historic influences into contemporary works and experiences. As founder and curator of The Bohemian Emporium by LEYLA SALM, I create exhibitions that blend art, antiques, and design, revealing the timeless connections between past and present cultural narratives. Alongside this, I produce functional art and interior pieces that reimagine found and historic materials into new forms of beauty. Beyond my creative practice, I have led workshops, community-based projects, and educational programmes, fostering participation and dialogue across different groups. I also collaborate with architects and designers, integrating art and design into human-centred interiors and workplace environments. With over 130,000 followers on social media, I actively engage audiences worldwide, building visibility and encouraging dialogue around art, heritage, and design. Equally at ease in creative and organisational roles, I bring experience in project management, curatorial work, and advisory functions — always balancing artistic vision with practical needs.
