I'm Matt Rai, a Melbourne-based life coach, charity founder, speaker, and singer-songwriter with a passion for helping people live more purposeful and meaningful lives. My professional journey has been anything but linear. Over the years, I've worked across business, coaching, community development, and the not-for-profit sector, experiences that have given me a deep appreciation for both the challenges and opportunities that shape our lives. Today, I combine those experiences to help individuals gain clarity, build resilience, and create positive, lasting change. As a certified life coach, I work with people from all walks of life, helping them navigate challenges such as stress, life transitions, confidence, motivation, relationships, and finding greater alignment between who they are and how they live. My coaching approach blends mindfulness, practical goal-setting, self-awareness, and values-based action. Beyond coaching, I am the founder and director of Schools for Nepal, an Australian charity dedicated to improving educational opportunities for underprivileged children in Nepal. Through the support of volunteers, donors, and community partners, we've helped build schools and create safer learning environments for children who otherwise may not have had access to education. Creativity is another important part of my life. As a singer-songwriter, I write and perform music that explores themes of authenticity, resilience, human connection, and hope. New music is being released later in August, continuing a creative journey that sits alongside my coaching and charity work. A significant turning point in my life was receiving a late ADHD diagnosis as an adult. That experience provided greater self-understanding and reinforced my belief that many of the struggles people face are not signs of weakness, but invitations to better understand themselves and grow. Whether through coaching, charity work, speaking engagements, or music, my goal remains the same: to help people reconnect with what matters most, embrace who they are, and create lives filled with greater purpose, fulfilment, and contribution.
