Workshop
Description
Based on years of experience working with leading artists, Pip facilitates a discussion workshop that unlocks a deeper understanding of yourself and your team. The workshop begins with creative prompts, that help shift habitual patterns of thought and cut through generic interaction. Discussions elicit a deeper experience of being, rather than of doing, and a renewed sense of motivation. The workshop is in-depth and playful - a light touch reminder of the value of what makes us human in an increasingly digital world.
Benefits
The curated conversations build a strong sense of connection with yourself and with the other participants. In a short space of time the workshop helps people shift towards a more imaginative, collaborative and generous version of themselves, and re-connects people to their curious minds and often neglected creative hearts.
Additional Experience Info
'Pip created a soft, open and geenrous space that allowed us (the participants) to share our experiences honestly and with vulnerabililty. The intimacy of the sharing meant that I felt seen and heard in my challenges. Pip's facilitation felt intuitive and responsive to the group. It never felt formulaic or prescriptive. Her facilitation was pointed and motivated a big journey in us all over the day. I came away from the day with a new sense of empowerment, connection to my community, inspiration and drive. It was the jump start I had been looking for for a long time.' [Anna, Punchdrunk]

About the Host
Having trained at the Royal Ballet School from the age of 13, Pip became a soloist with the Bayerische Staats Oper, Sadler’s Wells Royal Ballet, Nederland’s Dans Theater and with Hofesh Shechter. After retiring as a professional dancer she qualified and taught as a Montessori teacher, alongside freelance work in Europe and America as a contemporary ballet teacher. In 2002 she joined the faculty at the London Contemporary Dance School and completed her Master of Arts in Vocational Dance Education and Training, specialising in contemporary ballet and performance. In 2020 she attained a 'Relational Dynamics 1st - interaction with the self and others’ accreditation, and founded the initiative dancers- talking; a curated space, where dance and circus artists connect, and develop their skills in self-awareness, resilience and communication. Over the last five years she has facilitated workshops for performers, students and corporate professionals.
Her work enhances self awareness, confidence and productivity, and highlights the aliveness that face-to-face interaction inspires in a digital world.
