Description

Disturbed sleep does not have to be the price you pay for success. Quality sleep can be a strategic asset when navigating a career, caregiving, and parenting. My approach bridges ancient mind–body medicine and cognitive behavioural therapy.

In this interactive, experiential masterclass, I shed light on:

  • Sleep as depicted in mythology and art

  • Why sleep is a pillar of physical and mental health in ancient mind–body medicine

  • Circadian rhythm: your 24-hour biological clock

  • The neuroscience of sleep: why we sleep and what happens in the brain and body during sleep

  • Myths and misconceptions about sleep

  • Why we lose sleep: three factors that lead to insomnia

  • Stress & sleep: a bidirectional relationship

  • Optimising your sleep for performance, mood, and longevity

We will end with a short breathwork practice for better sleep.

Benefits

  • Relaxation to reduce stress

  • Circadian rhythm: how your body behaves over 24 hours and how to work with your natural biological clock

  • A holistic perspective on sleep: ancient mind–body medicine and modern behavioural therapy

  • Actionable tips to improve sleep quality, energy levels, and mood

  • How and when to seek help if you’re struggling with insomnia

  • Natural and sustainable alternatives to medication and supplements

About the Host

My name is Gayatri Devi Korhalkar.

I help professionals manage stress, transform sleep quality to optimise energy levels and cognitive performance.

After graduating from business school, I spent over ten years in fast paced and demanding professional environments. I know how juggling career, love, family and friendships take a toll on your physical and mental health. When my curiosity nudged me to study ancient wisdom traditions, I followed. Not only did I reconnect with my Indian heritage but along the way I discovered how these 3000 year old traditions hold time tested solutions to chronic stress, anxiety, insomnia…

I weave together time tested ancient mind-body practices like Yoga, Ayurveda, hypnosis and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and offer gentle remedies to chronic stress and insomnia.
