Description
Burnout is now classified by the WHO as an occupational phenomenon — and it is costing organisations billions in lost productivity, absenteeism, and talent turnover. Yet most employees don't recognise it until they're already past the tipping point. This powerful keynote helps teams identify the early warning signs of burnout, understand the systemic and personal factors that drive it, and leave with concrete tools to protect their energy and performance for the long term.
What happens in the session:
- Keynote: Manisha presents the science of burnout — what it is, what it isn't, and why 'just push through' is the most dangerous advice in modern workplaces
- Audience reflection tool: The Burnout Barometer — a simple self-assessment participants complete live to identify where they sit on the spectrum
- The 3 Drivers of Burnout framework: Overload, Disconnection, and Loss of Control — with workplace examples and solutions for each
- Practical segment: building a personal 'Energy Architecture' — how to design a working week that sustains rather than depletes
- Group discussion: what does work-life balance actually look like in this organisation? (Facilitates honest, constructive conversation)
- Participants leave with a digital toolkit: the Burnout Barometer, Energy Architecture worksheet, and a 5-minute daily reset practice
- Can be followed up with a company-wide wellbeing coaching programme or Manisha as a Resident Wellbeing Coach
