Description
Cacao ceremonies are a healing practice that is used in a variety of indigenous cultures all over the world. This healing space provides us with the opportunity to connect to the wholeness and vastness of who we are as this medicine literally helps to open up the heart and as a result, move deeper inwards. When we connect an intension to this healing process, it makes the ceremony even more powerful as we are communing with instilling our desires into the element of nature that we are consuming,
Cacao is a medicine that speaks to everyone differently as some people feel it more in their bodies and others in their heart. This process can be emotional as we are releasing toxins that no longer serve us. Cacao contains antioxidants, is a natural anti-depressant with mood enhancing qualities such as serotonin and dopamine. Cacao helps increase blood flow and activates the part of the brain that contains memories so it allows for you to introspect and let go combined with helping to reduce the bodies stress response and is excellent to navigate anxiety overall.
Part of this healing process includes:
•Journaling
•Breathing techniques
•Yoga Nidra and relaxation
•Sound bath healing and music for relaxation
Benefits
Team building, group connection, relaxation, managing stress and self-development

About the Host
Jean Rodrigues is a certified coach and facilitator who specialises in supporting individuals to reconnect with their whole selves — mind, body, and emotions — to create sustainable change, resilience, and fulfilment in both life and work. With a background spanning coaching, somatic practice, psychology, and creative industries, Jean brings a warm, inclusive, and deeply grounded presence to her work. Her approach blends emotional intelligence, stress and executive function support, and powerful tools for rewiring limiting narratives and patterns. She works with both individuals and teams across corporate, educational, non-profit and recovery sectors. Whether coaching leaders navigating burnout, neurodivergent adults seeking balance, or young professionals finding their voice, Jean meets each client with compassion, curiosity, and clarity — helping them return to their inner compass and live more aligned, meaningful lives. She is also a qualified coach supervisor and offers reflective spaces for fellow coaches to grow their practice with integrity, presence and professional resilience. Alongside this, Jean is a Satyananda yoga teacher with over 16 years experience. Jean offers Satyananda yoga sessions, fire ceremonies and cacao ceremonies. She curates and guides wellness retreats with the foundation of mental health, self-development, the science of yoga and the Enneagram. “Lasting transformation happens when we come back to the body — when we learn to feel, to breathe, to pause. Coaching for me is a space where we remember how to lead ourselves, not just manage life.”
