Description
The workshop begins with a casual conversation surrounding the participants experience around mindfulness, meditation, and mind-body connection. According to the group and their interest/experience, I will assess how surface-level or intricate the session will be. The attendees will be guided through some light stretching and movement. They will be asked certain questions regarding their goals in life, things they are grateful for, and things they feel are missing in their lives. They can assess this for themselves by writing these down. Whoever wants can share with the group. After this a short meditation session will start, where the attendees will focus on the breath and do a body scan (vipassana style). We will discuss in all honesty how the meditation went for the group, any struggles, etc. This will be followed by movement, where the participants will recall the things they wrote down and let loose through various moves. The session will finish with a last meditation, a little longer than the previous one, and tips on how to incorporate mindfulness into their everyday lives.
Benefits
Reduces stress, improves focus, sparks imagination, strengthens trust, empathy, and authentic connection within the group, provides practical mindfulness tools to integrate into daily routines, helps participants leave with a sense of calm, renewed motivation, and actionable strategies for well-being, foster physical awareness, relaxation, and a sense of vitality.

About the Host
With over five years of experience facilitating creative and mindful practices, I bring together theatre, meditation, and cross-cultural knowledge to support personal growth, collaboration, and well-being. My background spans acting, improvisation, devising workshops, theatre therapy, mindfulness, and talent development programs for emerging writers. Trained in World Performance, I’ve studied and worked across cultures: from theatre research in Russia, to exploring the spiritual and communal roots of Balinese dance drama in Indonesia, to collaborations with Brazilian directors. Having lived in Belgium, the UK, and now the Netherlands, I draw on a truly international perspective in my work. Fluent in multiple languages, I connect with diverse groups and create inclusive, inspiring environments where creativity can flourish. Alongside my artistic practice, I bring experience from corporate settings, including recruitment and leading writing workshops at Warner Bros, which allows me to tailor my approach to both artistic and professional contexts. At the heart of my practice is a belief in the power of creativity, presence, and connection to foster resilience, innovation, and community.
