Description
We live in a fast-paced world in which the "wait-and-see" approach belongs to the past. We now need to make almost instantaneous decisions based on a complexity of factors. How can we feel safe and move forward with confidence when we need to navigate such complicated times? Through the use of improv theatre techniques tailored for the workplace, you will learn how to reconnect with that zone of your brain that feels comfortable and in touch with the present. Participants will be presented the basic building blocks of improv, the art of dealing with the unknown. What better environment than a fun, safe place to practice these skills and get better at handling changes and crisis in an enjoyable and extremely pedagogical way? From warm-ups to simple exercises, games and role-playing with specific instructions, laughter and learning will arise and culminate in all-round fun session, during which participants will have reflected on and practised 'change/crisis' situations.
