Description
Compassionate Inquiry is a body oriented approach created by Dr. Gabor Mate. İt is designed to invite people to be in the present; to give space to the sensations and feelings, to initiate the process of self inquiry; to honor what's coming up in the body; to explore the limiting beliefs and the coping mechanisms; to connect to the inner child. İt is a compassionate way to explore with curiosity, to hold space to whatever is coming up, to connect and to feel safe.
I invite the person to do some grounding; I ask what the person wants to inquire during the session. All is invitations. İt is that person's process and we are in that flow. I am present with that person with whatever is coming up. it is very precious to have someone who says '' I am here with you''.. We are tracking the body, the traumas are scored in the body and we are doing it with compassion. I am also offering tools for regulation. Everybody has a potential for healing .
I can facilitate also circles.
Benefits
To feel that there is safety in connection.
To be self compassionate.
To understand oneself and to understand that there is an inner child who has special needs.
To be aware of one's own triggers , to understand why we react and to own our own triggers.
To be aware that we have an autonomy nervous system and it has only one purpose: to survive
We have the tools to regulate our nervous system.
