A hands-on and interactive workshop where participants discover the magic of film photography. Guided by experienced photographers, attendees will learn the basics of analog cameras, experiment with shooting on real film, and explore photography as a tool for creativity, teamwork, and storytelling. Each participant will get the chance to use a film camera and capture their own images, making the experience both playful and memorable. To spark inspiration, we provide a variety of props, so participants can get creative and photograph what resonates with them most.

About the Host
08mm was founded by Calvin Koukoui and Kiana Beijleveld in November 2024 with a clear mission: to build a community where photography is not only practiced but shared, celebrated, and lived. In less than a year, 08mm has grown to 200+ members and organized four successful workshops and many afterworks, talks and photowalks in Barcelona, bringing together photographers of all levels. Our gatherings are known for being wonderful spaces of exchange where film, digital, and experimental photography connect people with a common interest. For corporate clients, we are looking to design interactive introductions to film photography that are both practical and engaging. We can provide cameras and materials, allowing participants to experiment hands-on, rediscover creativity, and take part in an experience that is both playful and inspiring. At 08mm, we believe photography is more than images, it’s about connection, collaboration, and storytelling. Whether through community events or tailored corporate workshops, our goal is to spark creativity and create lasting shared experiences.
