Description
The session starts with some ice-breaker games, after which attendees will be engage in improvisation exercises (mirror exercise, human knot, yes... and, status walks, etc). After which they will be put in teams of 2. They will learn as much as possible about the other and present as the other through games and a big part of the workshop. This will happen once or twice, depending on time and size of the group. Towards the end of the workshop, I will prompt questions/scenarios for the participants, to share stories, assumptions, cultural barriers, and to spark open conversations and connection between participants.
Benefits

About the Host
With over five years of experience facilitating creative and mindful practices, I bring together theatre, meditation, and cross-cultural knowledge to support personal growth, collaboration, and well-being. My background spans acting, improvisation, devising workshops, theatre therapy, mindfulness, and talent development programs for emerging writers. Trained in World Performance, I’ve studied and worked across cultures: from theatre research in Russia, to exploring the spiritual and communal roots of Balinese dance drama in Indonesia, to collaborations with Brazilian directors. Having lived in Belgium, the UK, and now the Netherlands, I draw on a truly international perspective in my work. Fluent in multiple languages, I connect with diverse groups and create inclusive, inspiring environments where creativity can flourish. Alongside my artistic practice, I bring experience from corporate settings, including recruitment and leading writing workshops at Warner Bros, which allows me to tailor my approach to both artistic and professional contexts. At the heart of my practice is a belief in the power of creativity, presence, and connection to foster resilience, innovation, and community.
