Stress Management Through Movement

This interactive workshop is designed to help employees release tension, recharge, and reconnect with themselves in the middle of a busy workday. Using simple, accessible movement activities and group exercises, participants will explore ways to become more calm, relaxed, and present in their bodies.

The session includes:

Playful movement games to boost energy and team connection. This will also include props like coloured scarfs, or balloons for a better range of movement to encourage those who find it difficult to move infront of other.

Guided relaxation exercises tailored to each participant’s physical comfort level

Moments of verbal sharing to encourage openness and mutual support

A creative reflection activity (e.g., simple art-making or journaling) to integrate insights at the end

By combining gentle movement, group interaction, and reflection, this session offers employees a grounded, inclusive, and refreshing experience. Participants leave with practical tools to manage stress, improved body awareness, and renewed energy that supports both creativity and workplace well-being.

About the Host

I’m a certified dance/movement therapy facilitator [Creative Movement Therapy Association of India (CMTAI), India], currently completing my Master’s in Dance/Movement Therapy at SRH University, Heidelberg [finishing up by the end of September, 2025]. With over 20 years of Indian classical dance training, I’ve learned how powerful movement can be, not just as an art, but as a way to connect, recharge, and spark creativity.
I love creating inclusive, joyful, and energizing workshops where people feel free to move, laugh, de-stress, and discover new versions of themselves. My sessions are about being present, grounding in the body, and walking away feeling lighter, more connected, and ready to bring fresh energy into work and life.
