Workshop
Description
Participants are guided through a structured dialogue journey designed to build empathy, break down assumptions, and foster genuine human connection across cultural, religious, and national boundaries. Each session combines facilitated dialogue circles, identity exploration activities, and reflective journalling, culminating in a shared group commitment to constructive engagement beyond the programme.
What Participants Will Experience
- Opening circle sessions where participants share personal stories and perspectives in a structured, safe environment — building trust and psychological safety from day one
- Guided dialogue exercises using the Socratic method and dialogue principles to explore topics of faith, community, and identity — moving from personal experience to shared understanding
- Experiential activities including role reversal exercises, where participants are invited to step into a perspective different from their own and articulate it with genuine understanding
- Reflective journalling sessions after each dialogue circle, helping participants process and integrate what they have heard and felt
- A closing ceremony where each participant creates a personal commitment statement — a concrete articulation of how they intend to carry the learning forward into their community and relationships
Benefits
- Develop the ability to listen deeply and engage constructively with people whose views and backgrounds differ significantly from their own
- Build empathy and perspective-taking as practical, everyday skills rather than abstract values
- Reduce interpersonal conflict by learning to separate the person from the position in any disagreement
- Strengthen group cohesion and trust — participants consistently report feeling genuinely connected to peers they might never have engaged with otherwise
- Increase personal confidence in navigating difficult conversations without defensiveness or avoidance
- Build resilience by learning to remain present and regulated in emotionally charged dialogue situations

About the Host
I am a corporate trainer, experiential facilitator, wellness practitioner, and NLP coach with over 10 years of experience working across India, New Zealand, and the Middle East. I offer corporate training and facilitation, leadership development programmes, dialogue-based workshops, one-on-one and group coaching, post-injury rehabilitation, corrective movement and functional fitness training, workplace wellbeing programmes, NLP-based behavioural coaching, and Improv based recreational workshops for corporates. Experiential programme design and delivery, training needs assessment and gap analysis, one-on-one and group facilitation, dialogue and conflict resolution methodology, corrective exercise prescription, behavioural change coaching, cross-cultural communication, virtual and in-person programme delivery, and independent programme management from design through to evaluation. I am known for a coaching style that is empathetic, direct, and grounded in genuine curiosity about what makes people tick. I build psychological safety quickly, adapt fluidly to different audiences and contexts, and bring both the methodological rigour of a trained facilitator and the practical instincts of someone who has spent a decade working across industries, cultures, and age groups. I operate with full ownership and accountability — every engagement receives my complete attention and commitment.
