Workshop

Description

A fast, trauma-aware nervous-system reset designed for workplace settings. Participants are guided to slow down, turn inward, and notice what’s present—sensations, emotions, and tension—so they can shift from stress activation to grounded presence and strengthen psychological safety across the team.

Exactly what I’ll offer (step-by-step):
15-minute option

  1. Arrival & intention (1 min)

  2. Paced breathwork to downshift arousal (5–6 min)

  3. Micro-movements to release neck/shoulder/torso tension (2–3 min)

  4. Inner noticing (IFS-informed “parts” check-in) (3–4 min)

  5. 1 concrete workplace takeaway (1 min)

30-minute option

  1. Context setting + intention (2–3 min)

  2. Parts-informed somatic sequence (IFS-inspired) (10–12 min)

  3. Guided breathwork + paced exhale for regulation (8–9 min)

  4. Integration: brief share & on-the-job application (4–5 min)

  5. Take-home 1-page micro-practice (PDF) (1 min)

Benefits

  • Psychological safety & cohesion: shared language and practice for staying grounded together, even under pressure.

  • Stress reduction on demand: simple 3–5-step tool to quickly downshift arousal in meetings and deadlines.

  • Clearer thinking & decision-making: calmer state supports focus, prioritization, and follow-through.

  • Active listening & empathy: regulate first → hear others without reactivity; improves conflict navigation.

  • Resilience & recovery: faster return to baseline after spikes of stress or change.

  • Motivation & engagement: teams feel more resourced, which increases buy-in for goals and initiatives.

  • Perspective & alignment: brief integration maps somatic insights to next actions and team norms.

  • Wellbeing & burnout prevention: micro-movements release accumulated tension; sustainable to repeat daily.

  • Confidence under pressure: practiced regulation builds self-trust in high-stakes moments.
