Workshop
Description
Rather than focusing on income levels, it addresses how people relate emotionally to money, security, decision-making and responsibility — and how these patterns influence professional choices, relationships and collaboration.
This session will explore how emotional and financial dependence — often invisible — affects autonomy, confidence and collaboration at work. Participants reflect on the difference between dependence, independence and healthy interdependence, and how these dynamics show up in professional relationships.
What is worked on in a 20-minute session
-
A practical reflection on personal money–emotion patterns (security, fear, control, freedom)
-
Identification of where dependence, over-independence or avoidance shows up in daily decisions
-
One concrete exercise to bring these concepts to reality (based on one difficult work relationship chosen by each participant)
Benefits
Outcomes / Benefits

About the Host
My work bridges business reality and human development, combining executive experience with practical mentoring, coaching and facilitation. I support individuals, teams and entrepreneurs in navigating change, decision-making, responsibility, emotional regulation and sustainable performance, always aligned with their values and real-life priorities.
With 11 years as an executive in a multinational financial environment and over a decade mentoring entrepreneurs and coaching professionals, I bring together corporate experience and hands-on facilitation to support sustainable change, better decision-making and aligned ways of working and living.
I believe that sustainable results — personal or professional — come from developing the human being behind the role. My approach is practical, reflective and human-centred, focused on autonomy, self-leadership and conscious choices rather than one-size-fits-all solutions.
My work focuses on helping people understand themselves better — their values, priorities, talents and challenges — so they can make decisions and build paths that are sustainable over time, not just successful on paper. I don’t provide answers; I facilitate reflection, clarity and practical integration.
I am also deeply committed to social impact, having worked in volunteer programs supporting people in unemployment, career transition and, currently, within the prison system, focusing on autonomy, emotional regulation and personal responsibility.
A significant part of my work over the last 2 years also focused on female leadership and women’s health, informed by my own experience and dedicated study of female cyclicality. I collaborate with health professionals, that I partner with throughtout my ecommerce business and work with women and leaders on understanding how to align energy, productivity and decision-making with natural cycles — both professionally and personally — to create more sustainable ways of working and living.
I have lived and worked in Portugal, the UK and Angola, and delivered talks and workshops in Portugal, Spain and the UK.
I am passionate about dogs, playing the piano and social dance.
