Workshop
Description
Laughter is the best medicine! In this workshop I introduce participants to the concept of Laughter Yoga. They will be encouraged to laugh- purely as a physical excercise (at first), which usually leads to a joyful group experience, when they reconnect to their childlike playfulness. Since laughing is a powerful physical excercise it will be counterbalanced by calming breathing exercises.
In a longer version of this workshop I include more detailed background information on the medical benefits of humour and laughter and a positive outlook on life.
Benefits
Laughing is a powerful physical exercise first. It increases bloodflow, energizes, burns calories, contributes to the production of 'feel-good'-hormones, reduces stress hormones and is a natural pain-killer! Laughing in groups enhances our sense of connectivity and is simply fun.
