Workshop
Description
This workshop is designed to help people understand and manage self-criticism through awareness and by developing a more compassionate, balanced relationship with themselves. It explores how self-critical thinking develops, its impact on wellbeing, confidence, and self-esteem, and how it can contribute to suffering.
The session focuses on increasing awareness of internal thought patterns and emotional responses, while introducing practical strategies to respond with self-compassion. Participants are guided in understanding the different emotional systems involved in threat, drive, and soothing, and how these influence behaviour and reactions.
Participants will develop practical tools to reduce self-criticism, strengthen emotional regulation, and build a more supportive internal dialogue.
