Workshop

Description

Workshop or longer session where each participant will learn about the connection between mind and body, and how to face daily stressors, such as frustration or tiredness. Attendees will learn small hacks with exercises, games and some body movement, and how to manage their emotions better. They will discover practical exercises, mystery games, the use of images to understand their emotions, clippings, role-playing, and body movement. They will discover how their mind is much more than they think they know.

About the Host

Trainer certificate and Photo and Imaging therapy certificate holder. Experience as a trainer in communication, creativity, personal development, and as a university assistant for the Emotions course in the Psychology program. Communication especialist with more than 20 years experience in different areas either internationally or nationaly. I can facilitate workshops, training and educational sessions. I am also the author and presenter of the podcast and blog ExtensaMente (written in English and Portuguese), where, with guests or individually, I talk about issues of health, mental, and emotional well-being.
I have a master's degree in Human Development (integrating knowledge of psychology, sociology, and physiology) with research in behavioural science, neuroscience, brain function, and behaviour, and a Bachelor's degree (4 years) in Social Communication and a postgraduate degree in Psychology, with training in Emotional Intelligence from the University of Lisbon.
