Description
In an increasingly fast-paced and complex professional environment, mindfulness offers a space for breathing, awareness, and reconnection.
Through simple and accessible practices, regularly integrated into the working day, short sessions support participants in cultivating greater attention to the present moment, generating an immediate sense of calm, balance and renewed energy.
What distinguishes this sessions is the integration of poetry as a contemplative and relational practice. Poetry becomes a tool for deep listening, resonance, and meaning-making: a space where language slows down, attention sharpens, and inner experience can be met with care.
Carefully selected poetic readings, drawn from diverse cultural and historical sources, accompany each session, inviting participants to access wisdom, emotional intelligence, and new perspectives through literary experience.
Methodology
The programme integrates:
- Guided mindfulness meditation practices (breath awareness, body scan, visualization)
- Simple embodied awareness exercises suitable for the workplace
- Poetic listening practices, with curated readings drawn from diverse literary traditions
- Moments of silence, reflection, and optional sharing
Poetry is used as a tool for attention, care, and insight, supporting participants in accessing inner resources and cultivating a non-judgmental, receptive attitude.
Structure
Mindful Breaks can be delivered as:
- Short sessions (20–30 minutes) integrated into the workday
- Regular weekly or bi-weekly programmes
