Description

Participants explore mindfulness through photography. After a short grounding breathing, meditation, and body movement, they will explore what gives them vitality in their working and personal environment using their phones. In pairs, they share their images and the stories and emotions behind them and reflect on new ways of seeing. Closing the circle to consolidate insights.

About the Host

Ingrid Guyon is a French photographer, filmmaker, and participatory visual media practitioner and facilitator with nearly two decades of international experience. She is known for her commitment to social change through visual storytelling. She's the founding director of Fotosynthesis, a social enterprise she established in 2009 to harness photography, filmmaking, and community cinema for education, dialogue, inclusion, peacebuilding, and healing. Her creative participatory photography workshops involve body movement, group work, dialogue, self-expression, identity, visual ethics, storytelling, peace, mindfulness, and therapeutic and experimental processes to promote empathy, active listening, creativity, self-esteem, and cohesion.

Travel Locations

I am based between Zaragoza (Spain) and London (UK) and often work in Madrid and Barcelona. I can travel anywhere in Europe as long as the travel and accommodation costs are covered on top of my fees.
