Workshop

Description

In this participatory session, scholar and storyteller Ingrid Norton extemporaneously performs a classic ancient myth from Mesopotamia or the Greco-Roman tradition and then facilitates discussion and small group activities to awaken participants' imaginations. Participants will get a change to reflect on on achievement, struggle, grief, love, and human culture over time. They'll also awaken their own creativity and storytelling abilities, coming together to devise fresh myths of their own.

Benefits

Ancient myths provide guidance and wisdom for our personal and collective lives. The offering will let participants delve into some of the classic stories of western culture and awaken their own creativity, imagination, and storytelling abilities. Participants will emerge refreshed, with new ideas, and their own inner storyteller awakened.
