About the Host
I’m Laila Seidel, a German artist based in the Czech Republic, with over a decade of experience facilitating creative workshops that spark curiosity, connection, and flow. My own artistic practice bridges vivid, expressive painting and the meditative precision of hand-cut paper works. For the past 10+ years, I’ve brought this blend of presence and play into workshops across Germany and the Czech Republic—working with adults, children, and teams in both corporate and cultural settings. I’ve led programs for schools, nonprofits, and organizations like Kultur Vor Ort e.V., where I ran a community art studio focused on empowering creative expression. Alongside my workshop work, I’m also a published artist and co-author of the international #1 Amazon bestseller Radical Courage. I speak regularly at events across Europe and beyond—including most recently in Cairo at an international symposium on art and conflict. Whether on stage, in a studio, or in a team-building session, my work invites people to slow down, connect, and see with new eyes. It’s not about being “good at art”—it’s about what art unlocks in us when we dare to create.
