Format:
Interactive / Meditative Art Workshop
Available in person or online
Description:
This guided creative session combines gentle mindfulness and intuitive painting with liquid inks or watercolor. Participants are invited to slow down, reconnect with their senses, and paint freely as a form of meditation.
Each session begins with a guided intention that sets the emotional tone — such as gratitude, resilience, forgiveness, self-love, or inner calm — tailored to the group or theme. While participants paint, I may read short poems or excerpts from inspiring texts to support reflection and maintain a calm, focused atmosphere. Together, we may explore what different colors evoke within us and how they can mirror our inner landscape.
The experience is calm, inspiring, and inclusive — no prior art experience needed. Participants leave with a sense of relaxation, inner clarity, and a small personal artwork that reflects their moment of presence.
Technical/Space Requirements:
Tables for participants, a calm environment, a projector and camera setup (for live demo), and access to water if possible.
All art materials provided (paints, brushes, papers; materials budget agreed per group).
Price 480€ per workshop (10 participants)
Rate includes preparation and facilitation (up to 90 minutes) plus all painting materials for up to 10 participants for in-person sessions.
For larger groups (11–20 participants), add €15 per person to cover materials.
Onsite sessions are highly recommended for the full sensory experience — combining the presence of color, texture, movement, soft background sound, and, if agreed with the organiser, mild natural scents that support calm and restoration.
Online sessions are also available at a similar rate, as they include pre-session preparation, curated content, and personal guidance.
Travel or accommodation costs, if required, are to be agreed separately.

About the Host
I’m an internationally established visual designer and artist based in Finland, with over two decades of experience creating visual communication, branding, and illustration for clients ranging from the USA to China. My background combines artistic sensitivity with strategic design thinking, developed through collaborations with global brands and creative agencies. In recent years, I’ve expanded my artistic practice into facilitating group sessions that blend art, meditation, and self-discovery. My work bridges creativity and mindfulness; I guide people to slow down, observe, and reconnect with their own creative essence through painting and intuitive visual expression. My approach is grounded yet inspiring: I use simple, fluid materials and sensory awareness to help participants enter a relaxed flow state where creativity and calm meet. I’m passionate about bringing art beyond the studio and into spaces where it can nurture well-being, connection, and renewal. In 2020, I launched my own creative retreat in the Finnish countryside, about an hour from the capital, Helsinki. I have since hosted multiple mindfulness-based creative sessions there and collaborated with other facilitators. I’m fluent in English and Finnish, and comfortable facilitating sessions in diverse environments — from creative retreats to professional teams. I would love to bring this perspective to Culture Vitale’s “Sessions of Vitality” and share the joy of presence and play through meditation, color exploration, and creative, intuitive flow.

I’m happy to travel across Europe for Culture Vitale sessions — whether for creative off-sites, well-being retreats, or team vitality days. I’m especially inspired by locations that combine culture and nature, offering an atmosphere of renewal and creativity.
Preferred regions:
– Nordics: Finland, Sweden, Denmark

Additional travel costs depending on distance from Helsinki (to be agreed individually).
Certifications & Credentials
Master’s degree in Visual Communication Design (Aalto University, Finland).
Experienced facilitator in creative and mindfulness-based art sessions.
Client Requirements
A calm and comfortable space is ideal, with tables for participants (painting is difficult from the lap). I would also appreciate a projector and a camera setup (or similar solution) to project my live painting onto a screen. This allows participants to relax and observe the creative flow before joining in with their own painting when they feel ready. Access to water (e.g. a sink) is helpful but not essential. I provide all art materials: paints, brushes, and paper (to ensure quality and ease for participants). A small materials budget (to be agreed per session, depending on group size) would therefore be required.
