About the Host

Icelandic cellist and improviser Sæunn Thorsteinsdóttir creates immersive musical experiences that bridge sound, emotion, and presence. Classically trained and internationally recognized, she now focuses on improvised performance as a form of creative renewal — inviting listeners into stillness, resonance, and inspiration.

Travel Locations

USA (if more than 250 miles of New York, must include airfare for me and cello and accomodation) and Iceland. For performances in Europe, must include airfare for me and cello plus accomodation.
