Workshop
Description
Type: Interactive workshop
Ideal duration: 45–90 minutes
Description:
A practical and engaging workshop that helps professionals give and receive feedback with more clarity, confidence and emotional intelligence. Participants explore why feedback so often becomes awkward, avoided or misunderstood, and learn how to approach it in a way that is constructive, respectful and easier to act on. The session includes short teaching segments, paired or small-group activities, language reframes, and real-world practice using common workplace scenarios.
Activities may include:
- identifying what makes feedback effective or ineffective
- reframing vague, emotional or overly blunt feedback into clear, useful language
- practising how to give and receive feedback
- learning how to receive feedback without becoming defensive
- exploring tone, timing and wording in workplace conversations.
Benefits
Improves communication, trust, confidence and team effectiveness. Participants leave with tools they can use immediately in workplace conversations with colleagues, managers and team members.
What makes it distinctive:
This is not generic feedback theory. It focuses on the language, delivery and emotional dynamics that shape whether feedback is actually heard.
