Description
My self-awareness and self-acceptance workshops are designed to complement each other:
• Workshop 1 helps you understand what patterns are shaping your life.
• Workshop 2 helps you change how you relate to the parts of yourself behind those patterns.
In the first workshop, we will explore inner blocks – the beliefs, assumptions, and automatic patterns that quietly shape how we
think, feel, and act. Rather than trying to “fix” yourself, you’ll learn how to observe these patterns with curiosity, understand where they come from, and notice how they influence your choices. You will identify a recurring pattern in your life, understand how it impacts the choices that you make and learn to relate to it with more awareness and flexibility.
In the second workshop, We will focus on self-acceptance – not as approval of all behaviors, but as the ability to face our inner experience
honestly, without judgment. Rather than fighting yourself, you’ll learn
how to create distance from certain difficult inner parts, as well as how to relate to them with more compassion and choice. You will identify a part of yourself you find difficult to accept, understand what it may be trying to protect and strengthen your ability to choose your behavior.
Participants will be guided through different exercises and reflection prompts, to identify patterns that are blocking their self-development and psychological maturity. Through body-awareness and self-diffusion exercises they will learn to create distance from their experiences and see them as objects they can observe, rather than as effects they are bound by. This will not only give them the necessary psychological flexibility to choose their way forward, but it will allow them to start freeing themselves from the self-judgment and shame those "rejected" parts of ourselves lead to.
Benefits
- Identification of recurring and persistent limiting beliefs and patterns of behavior, and the specific outcomes they lead to.
- Identification one specific, difficult recurring pattern, in order to understand how it impacts the choices one make and learning to relate to it with more awareness and flexibility.
- Increased ability to hold difficult emotions and experiences (shame, guilt, jealousy) without affecting one's self perception.
- Strengthened ability to see one's difficult parts as "protectors" of something important.
- Ability to choose one's actions, rather than being pushed into behavior, as a response to difficult emotions and experiences.
- Increased feeling of self-awareness (why we do what we do, what are our triggers) and self-acceptance (not judging ourselves, but understanding ourselves).
