Workshop
Description
A gentle, structured 30-minute reset designed for busy teams who need a moment of clarity, calm, and reconnection in the middle of their workday.
This session introduces participants to the foundational principles of The Art of Being at Work — using simple, tactile creative exercises to slow the nervous system, spark new thinking, and create a shared moment of presence within the group.
Attendees are guided through a short grounding practice, followed by a hands-on creative prompt using accessible mark-making techniques. No artistic skill is required. The focus is on helping individuals quiet mental noise, access a different part of the brain, and reconnect to themselves and each other through a calm, reflective process.
This mini-experience is ideal for wellbeing days, away-days, conference energisers, or as a restorative break within longer meetings.

About the Host
I bring over 20 years of experience from a fast-paced retail career, where I worked at senior levels in buying and leadership roles — an environment that demanded constant decision-making, pressure, and performance. Like many professionals, I reached a point of burnout, and it was through rediscovering my creativity that everything shifted. Returning to creative practice didn’t just change my career path; it soothed an overworked mind, restored clarity, and reconnected me to a sense of purpose and presence I hadn’t realised I’d lost. Today, I bridge both worlds — understanding the realities of corporate life while embodying the power of creativity as a practical, grounding tool for wellbeing. I bring warmth, emotional intelligence, and lived experience to my work, creating spaces where people feel safe to slow down, reconnect, and think differently.
