Workshop

Description

This workshop begins with a 15-minute live professional dance performance, offering participants the chance to witness art in motion and spark their imagination. Inspired by what they’ve seen, attendees then take part in 25 minutes of guided movement exploration and improvisation, using accessible activities like mirroring, rhythm patterns, and creative group exercises to connect with themselves and others. The session closes with an art-inspired (20 minutes) reflection and visualization practice, where participants consider how observing and embodying movement can foster creativity, empathy, and innovation in their own lives and work.

Benefits

Art as inspiration: Watching live dance opens new perspectives and sparks creativity.

Embodied learning: Improvisation helps participants connect with their own expression and with others.

Team building: Shared movement experiences strengthen trust and group cohesion.

Creativity & innovation: Movement exploration nurtures adaptability and creative problem-solving.

About the Host

I am a freelance dancer and yoga teacher with nearly 10 years of experience in teaching and performing. My dance career has taken me internationally, including contracts with the Ballet Company of the Opéra de Nice and the National Theater of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in Germany. Yoga has always been a part of my life, and in 2024 I decided to expand my career by becoming a part-time yoga teacher. I currently teach at Serendip, one of Brussels’ leading spas, where I also represent them at corporate events.
