About the Host
I am a creative director and cultural strategist with a foundation built on a unique stage: the world. As a performer who has performed and collaborated across five continents, I learned the art of communication not through a brief, but through breath, nuance, and emotional resonance. This discipline is the bedrock of my more than 30-year career working with both indie pioneers and major global brands. My expertise spans creative direction, journalism, styling, public relations, and education, with a specialized focus on Black American culture and assisting artists in navigating their singular journey. I have directed projects for Fortune 500 companies, cultivating a distinct tone and presence for each client that speaks directly to their audience. Having lived and worked across the globe, I bring more than just fluency in four languages; I bring a deep, nuanced understanding of cultural currents that enables me to produce premium, impactful content for any market. No two projects are the same, and my approach is always as distinctive as the clients I serve. Clients gravitate towards me when they want ideas that think outside the box and present a world view that connects with people from a multitude of backgrounds.
