Description

In this workshop, professionals will learn and practice the Active Listening method. This method teaches us how to really listen to someone else - without judging, redirecting, or interrupting - and to rephrase and summarize the core of their communication.

There will be a presentation of the theory of Active Listening and its benefits, followed by practical exercises in groups of 2 or 3 in order to integrate the skill.

This workshop is available in-person or online.

Benefits

Active listening is a successful communication skill and a corporate development tool. It prevents conflicts and misunderstandings, and improves:

  • Creativity and Trust: truly understanding others builds trust in the team, and increases creativity
  • Team cohesion: feeling heard and respected enhances team cohesion
  • Work relationships: they are improved by feeling listened to and understood
  • Work efficiency: better understanding of what others communicate prevents misunderstandings
  • Accurate understanding of instructions and information: it ensures tasks are performed efficiently

I am a workshop facilitator with 8 years of experience working with organisations, companies, universities and collectives. In my work, I aim at improving cohesion, mental health, well-being, relationship development and collective growth. My goal is to support professionals in developing their self-awareness, integrity, authenticity, and relational skills. My unique approach is guided by the knowledge acquired during my Master's Degree in philosophy and ethics, my knowledge of personal development and emotional awareness, and of mindfulness techniques. My facilitation style is warm, attentive and empathetic, creating a safe space for professionals to learn and grow.
