Workshop

Description

FORMAT

  • Duration: Full day (9am-5pm) or intensive half-day (9am-2pm)
  • Group size: 8-20 participants
  • Setting: Off-site location conducive to reflection and connection
  • Language: English, French, Italian, Spanish, or German

WHAT I OFFER

Morning: Grounding & Discovery

  • Opening Circle with Mindful Grounding (30 min) – Guided breathing and centering practice to help participants arrive fully present, leaving external pressures at the door
  • Appreciative Inquiry Session (90 min) – Structured dialogue exploring "when we are at our best as a team." Participants identify existing strengths, successful moments, and what conditions allowed the team to thrive
  • Movement & Integration Break (20 min) – Gentle yoga-inspired movement to shift energy and integrate insights

Midday: Perspective Expansion

  • Six Thinking Hats Facilitation (90 min) – Systematic exploration of the team's current challenge or opportunity through multiple perspectives (facts, emotions, creativity, caution, benefits, process). This removes personal conflict and allows the team to think together rather than against each other
  • Working Lunch – Informal continuation of dialogue

Afternoon: Vision Building & Commitment

  • Collective Vision Mapping (75 min) – Using visual tools and structured dialogue to co-create a shared vision of where the team wants to go. What does success look like? What values guide us? What roles do we each play?
  • Mindful Closing Practice (20 min) – Breathing and reflection exercise to anchor insights and individual commitments
  • Action Commitments (30 min) – Each participant articulates one concrete commitment; team identifies 3-5 collective next steps

PREPARATION & FOLLOW-UP

Pre-Retreat (included):

  • 60-min consultation with leadership to identify core challenges, desired outcomes, and any sensitive dynamics
  • Anonymous brief survey to team members (optional) to surface themes

Post-Retreat (optional add-on):

  • 30-day check-in session (2 hours) to review progress on commitments and address emerging challenges
  • Individual coaching sessions for team members navigating specific transitions

Benefits

For the Team:

  • Rebuild psychological safety – structured processes ensure every voice is heard without judgment
  • Move from fragmentation to alignment – discover shared values and direction
  • Transform tension into clarity – systematic exploration of different perspectives defuses conflict
  • Reconnect with team strengths – leverage what already works rather than fixating on problems
  • Generate actionable direction – leave with concrete commitments, not just good feelings

For Individual Participants:

  • Experience being truly heard in a professional context
  • Access both cognitive and somatic wisdom through the integration of facilitation and mindfulness
  • Learn portable techniques (breathing, perspective-taking) for ongoing use
  • Feel re-energized and recommitted to team purpose

About the Host

Hi my name is Elena, born and raised in Italy and then lived in Paris, Washington DC, Rome, Berlin, Tunis . I am an international development expert , worked for major international organizations such as the United nations, the World Bank, across Africa, Eastern Europe, and the US. I have recently relocated from Tunis to Berlin ! Raised 3 trilingual daughters, adopted 3 street dogs, speak 3 language fluently. As a Certified coach I call myself an empowerment and transition coach and these 3 words summarize the very essence of my coaching: grounding, empowering, transitioning. In my jobs with the United Nations, World Bank, and German development cooperation, I focused on creating environments where voices are heard and Community or personal potential is realized, often through assessing needs and tapping into the aspirations of diverse groups or individuals to design meaningful activities and solutions. My focus included social inclusion, empowerment of vulnerable groups, and gender equity. This extensive international work has profoundly shaped how I coach today. I bring the same skills in surfacing underlying needs and aspirations to individual and team development, channeling that same care and engagement into supporting empowering journeys. My practice combines deep listening, structured methodologies, and a steadfast belief in each person's capacity for meaningful growth when their priorities are clear and their voices heard. Being a certified yoga teacher allows me when needed to combine breathing , meditation, mindfulness and yoga practice to my coaching as a means of calming the mind, grounding, finding presence that allows deep discovery processes
