Workshop
Description
Type: Interactive workshop
Ideal duration: 30–75 minutes
Description:
A lively and thought-provoking session exploring the messages people send before they speak, while they speak, and when they say nothing at all. This experience helps participants become more aware of their non-verbal communication, including posture, facial expression, eye contact, pauses, tone and presence. Through observation exercises, reflection and hands-on activities, participants build awareness of how they show up and how this affects others in professional settings.
Activities may include:
- short exercises in non-verbal awareness
- exploring how posture, pauses and eye contact influence perception
- noticing the difference between intended message and received message
- practising how to create a more confident, open and grounded presence
- group reflection on what silence, hesitation or body language can communicate in meetings and conversations.
Benefits
Benefits:
Strengthens self-awareness, confidence, communication impact and interpersonal effectiveness. Particularly useful for leaders, teams and professionals who want to improve presence, trust and connection.
What makes it distinctive:
This session goes beyond “body language tips” and helps participants understand the often-unseen communication happening in every interaction.
