Description

We all know innovation when we see it: a new way of thinking, a more streamlined system, a different way of seeing a product, and for many us, we might think, "Why didn't I think of that?"

Good question! This session pulls back the curtain on the creative process, and explores synaptic idea formation using the tenets of improv's fundamental thesis of "yes, and". Through a mix of physical group activities (don't worry, nothing strenuous and entirely accessible), ice breakers, listening exercises, performances, and round-table discussion, we'll see how a normal thought, suggestion, or object can become something truly new, innovative, and extraordinary.

Benefits

  • team relationship building
  • increased ease of collaboration
  • comfort in front of an audience (perfect for presentations both in-house and to outside clients)
  • a new perspective on innovative idea building
  • shared vulnerability that leads to shared confidence
  • using diversity as strength
  • letting go of the fear of looking foolish in front of others, which stymies possibility

Additional Experience Info

I'm willing to negotiate price if the group/team/company truly wants my session but can't afford it.
