Understand your audience to strengthen teamwork, empathy, and alignment

This session helps teams deeply understand who they serve, what their audiences value, and how this shapes their daily decisions. Participants explore the motivations, frustrations, needs, and expectations of their internal or external customers (depending on the context).

The session blends short insights, guided reflection, and group discussion to create a clear, human-centred picture of the customer they must “win” every day.

What attendees will experience:

  • A short introduction to customer-centric thinking (simple, accessible to all roles).

  • A guided exercise to map your key customer segments.

  • A collaborative “empathy focus” activity to identify customer expectations, emotional triggers, and success criteria.

  • A group share-out where participants articulate clear customer statements:
    “Our customer is…, they need…, we help them by…, success looks like…”

  • A closing alignment moment to ensure everyone leaves with the same understanding.

This session is a team alignment and empathy booster suitable for non-marketers and cross-functional groups.

About the Host

Caroline Doche is a senior brand strategist, mentor, and team development facilitator based in Lisbon, with 25 years of international leadership experience at Nestlé and Bacardi-Martini across Europe and Asia-Pacific.

After two decades in senior marketing, sales, and general-management roles, she now supports business leaders and teams as a mentor and business coach within Impactified. Her work focuses on strengthening team communication, aligning people around a clear vision, and helping organisations scale with clarity and cohesion.

Caroline is particularly recognised for her ability to simplify complexity, unlock team dynamics, and create meaningful “aha moments” for groups. She designs and animates short, high-impact sessions on leadership, communication, time management, and collective identity, always with a practical, human-centred approach.

She brings a unique mix of corporate expertise, coaching insight, and facilitation energy, making her sessions engaging, transformative, and accessible to all professionals. Originally from France and now based in Portugal, Caroline works across Europe and facilitates sessions in both French and English.
