Description

Art by Heart: Where every color becomes a conversation with yourself

Our art therapy sessions offer a unique pathway to self-discovery and emotional well-being. Combining elements of psychology, coaching, and artistic expression, these sessions invite you to connect with yourself through color, texture, and form. Gently guided by our facilitator, you’ll use art to navigate your feelings, thoughts, and aspirations, turning your inner landscape into a visual reflection of who you are.

What makes our sessions unique?

• Expression beyond words

Through painting, drawing, or mixed media, you’ll find a safe and non-judgmental way to release emotions, thoughts, and tension. The creative process helps to externalize what’s inside, turning inner chaos into a tangible form that can be gently explored, understood, and transformed.

• A journey of self-discovery

This is a practice of deep, non-verbal communication with yourself. Without needing to analyze or explain, you begin to recognize inner patterns, beliefs, and desires. This process often leads to profound insights, fostering a more authentic understanding of yourself on a deeper, more intuitive level.

• The joy of creative presence

Beyond guided prompts lies the pure, therapeutic joy of creation. Our sessions cultivate playfulness, curiosity, and immersion in the present moment. This process alone can be incredibly liberating, helping to rediscover the simple pleasure of spontaneous creating, regardless of outcome.

• Clarity for today, vision for tomorrow

When appropriate, the sessions include gentle coaching elements - helping you connect your creative insights with your real-life goals, decisions, and vision of the future. Art becomes a tool for clarity, self-development, and conscious growth.

• Supportive and accepting atmosphere

The facilitator creates a trusting, confidential space where every participant feels seen and accepted. In group sessions, we close with a circle of reflection - sharing experiences, insights, and discoveries in a warm and respectful environment. You are encouraged to share only what you feel comfortable with, and in return, you receive heartfelt validation, profound support, and a deep sense of connection.

What to expect

Each session begins with a short introduction to the theme and materials, creating a gentle entry into the creative process. Participants are guided step by step - not by strict instructions, but through intuitive prompts that encourage exploration and reflection. Each creative process unfolds naturally, at your own pace and comfort level, with personal guidance when needed.

We usually close with a quiet moment of reflection or group sharing, cultivating a profound sense of connection, shared support, and mutual inspiration. Whether you join a group or an individual session, the process is always about presence, discovery, and emotional release - not artistic perfection.

Thematic depth & Rich context

We continuously design unique, immersive themes to ensure a rich, adaptive experience that can meet you wherever you are on your journey. Here are just a few examples to illustrate the diversity of our art therapy practice:

About the Host

I am an artist and mindfulness facilitator with a professional fine art background and over seven years of experience designing and delivering creative and wellbeing experiences for corporate and private clients.

I began facilitating art and mindfulness events in Ukraine and have since led more than 150 successful sessions, the majority of them in Portugal. My work is primarily focused on in-person corporate and private events. I have extensive experience working with international teams and adapting sessions to different professional contexts, company cultures, and business objectives.

I design and facilitate a wide range of formats – from short, focused sessions integrated into the workday to full-scale standalone events lasting up to three hours. My experience includes everything from intimate, reflective formats to large team-building experiences, delivered in corporate venues, art studios, outdoor locations, retreats, and festival settings.

My work is structured around two complementary directions: Mindfulness Sessions and Art Workshops. Every session is carefully planned in advance and fully customized for each client. I take into account the event format, duration (from 15 minutes to 3 hours), group size, participants’ interests, and most importantly – the intended outcome for the team. When appropriate, I also combine several practices into longer, more immersive experiences.

All mindfulness sessions I provide are delivered without esoteric or spiritual framing. My approach is grounded in research from psychology, cognitive science, and physiology, ensuring that the practices are accessible, inclusive, and suitable for corporate and professional environments.

All of my art workshops are built on a foundation of 14 years of academic fine art education and seven years of facilitation experience. They are designed not only as creative activities, but as structured experiences that support creative thinking, self-expression, and team connection.

Client Requirements

Depending on the group size and format, I may require setup and breakdown time before and after the session. For large groups, a microphone is required to ensure clear communication. Some of my wellbeing offerings require an unobstructed space without tables or chairs (such as a hall or yoga studio). This applies specifically to: Sound Relaxation, Yoga Party, Intuitive Dance. Certain sessions are designed to take place outdoors only, specifically: Open-air Sketching, Mindful Walk, Conscious Picnic. The majority of my sessions are highly flexible and can be adapted to different spaces and setups. All requirements are discussed and confirmed in advance, based on the client’s needs and the chosen format.
