Workshop

Description

Format: 90 minutes — 30 min introduction + 60 min facilitated interactive workshop

Description: Inspiration is important, but it doesn't create lasting change. This session goes beyond the typical diversity talk into the practical, sometimes uncomfortable, and always transformative work of understanding how cultural backgrounds and cognitive differences shape the way we communicate, lead, and collaborate.

After a focused introduction on the real impact of inclusive leadership — drawing on Nadine's experience leading anti-segregation initiatives, building inclusive dialogue across language barriers, and working with diverse communities across Stockholm's residential areas — participants engage in hands-on exercises designed to surface blind spots and practise inclusive behaviours they can apply the same week.

Benefits

The session includes:

Introduction (30 min): The link between inclusion, psychological safety, and team performance — with real examples from community development and corporate environments. Why cultural norms, communication styles, and neurodevelopmental differences are invisible forces shaping every meeting, decision, and team dynamic.

Interactive workshop (60 min):

  • Scenario-based group exercises exploring how ethnic and cultural background shapes expectations around leadership, conflict, directness, and "professionalism"
  • A neurodiversity lens: how ADHD, autism, and other cognitive profiles are more common in workplaces than most leaders realise — and what happens when we design for cognitive diversity instead of against it
  • Personal reflection: each participant identifies one concrete behaviour to change and commits to it

Best for: Management teams, HR/People & Culture departments, project teams, organisations going through change or wanting to strengthen team culture.

Additional Experience Info

If there are more than 25 participants, we can divide the group into two cohorts.

About the Host

I have spent 15 years working at the intersection of diversity, inclusion, and leadership — from leading anti-segregation projects in Stockholm's most diverse neighbourhoods, to coaching leaders on unlocking the potential of culturally and cognitively diverse teams.

With a Master's in Intersectionality Studies, certification as an ADHD coach, and training in Motivational Interviewing, I bring both the research and the lived experience to every room I enter. Growing up between cultures and languages, I know firsthand what it means to navigate difference — and how powerful it is when organisations learn to do the same. Being diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 40, I also know the difference between neurodiverse and not aware, versus being neurodiverse and aware of it.

I also know that transformation doesn't happen from the neck up. That's why my sessions weave in breathwork, movement, dance, creative expression, and micro breaks alongside the deeper DEI work. These aren't add-ons — they're how I help people drop their defences, tap into their creativity, and connect with each other beyond titles and roles. The result is teams that don't just understand inclusion intellectually, but feel it.

I offer keynotes, interactive workshops, and intensive full-day programmes that go beyond inspiration to drive real, accountable change. My conviction is simple: diverse teams don't just perform better — they perform best when their differences are understood, valued, and designed for.
