Workshop

Description

A lecture-style, interactive session exploring nutrition from a body-centered perspective. Participants learn how to connect with natural hunger and fullness cues, increase awareness around food choices, and approach eating with curiosity and balance rather than rules or restrictions.

The session includes:

  • Introduction to somatic principles and how the body communicates its needs

  • Exploration of mindful and intuitive eating strategies grounded in neuroscience and MBSR-EAT practices

  • Practical tools for making food choices that support energy, focus, and wellbeing in busy professional lives

  • Optional Q&A and discussion for participants to share insights and questions

What I offer:

Optional: every participant receives a Mindful Eating journal/workbook. Extra charge of $12 per participant

About the Host

Certified Yoga Therapist and mindfulness-based counsellor with over 20 years of experience supporting stress regulation, embodiment, and mental wellbeing. I work with individuals and groups to cultivate calm, clarity, and resilience in high-pressure professional and creative environments. My approach is grounded, trauma-informed, and accessible, making mindfulness and body-based practices practical for diverse, international audiences.

I am a registered Yoga Therapist with an active C-IAYT designation and over 2000 hours of yoga teacher training including: therapeutic, Hatha, Chair, Senior, Mindfulness, Meditation Master, MBSR, MBSR-EAT, Somatic Yoga
Diplomas & certificates in digestive health, nutrition, somatic counselling, trauma informed care
PhD-DNM, DHS, BSc.
