About the Host
I am a trail-blazer in the world of body based healing and creative arts therapy, known for my empowering compassionate approach. I have 17 years experience in Community Development, facilitating a variety of capacity-building and wellbeing, personal growth and development focused workshops and programs for communities, individuals, corporations – people who have experienced burn out, anxiety, stress and disconnection from their body. I am an award-winning author, trainer and facilitator – specialising in Movement & Expressive Arts Therapy. My work is about supporting people to rekindle their relationship with their bodies and re-learn how to listen to, trust in and follow their intuition. I am trauma-informed in my approach, encouraging people to have agency in their body autonomy and learn the language of their body and what it is communicating with them so they can learn to work in partnership with their body. As a Creative Arts Therapist I am skilled in creative innovation, tailoring sessions and workshops to themes and life-challenges, and coming up with creative avenues for exploration and discovery.
