Description

This session invites participants to step away from their screens and reconnect with their bodies through a combination of simple movement and guided awareness.

We begin with a short check-in to notice what’s present—physically and mentally—before moving into gentle, accessible movements that can be done desk-side. Throughout, the emphasis is not on performing movements correctly, but on staying connected to the experience of moving: feeling the body, sensing effort, and noticing when attention drifts.

Participants are encouraged to return to that connection, over and over again throughout the session, building a different kind of awareness than what typically carries them through the workday.

The session closes with a second check-in and a simple, memorable exercise that can be revisited throughout the day. A brief reflection invites participants to consider how this way of paying attention differs from their usual patterns, and how it may relate to how they feel and function throughout the day.

Benefits

Participants of this experience will:

  • Reconnect with their body
  • Become more aware of how they move, sit, and hold themselves
  • Notice when their attention drifts and practice returning to the present moment
  • Feel more grounded and settled
  • Build connection with colleagues through a shared experience and group reflection
  • Gain a simple, practical exercise to reset throughout the day
  • Walk away with a new perspective on how attention and physical experience are connected.
