Description

Attendees will be guided through a mindfulness meditation session, during which they will be led through a series of reflective questions designed to prompt deep self-inquiry. Through this process, participants will explore their current relationship with themselves, identify limiting beliefs that may be keeping them stuck, and reconnect with their goals and what they truly want. The meditation creates a safe, held space for honest self-reflection, allowing each person to meet themselves exactly where they are.

This is followed by a group workout session, combining resistance training and mindful movement, where attendees are coached to channel the insights from the meditation into their bodies. Through intentional, guided exercise, participants will learn to build mind-muscle connection and body awareness, using movement as a tool to physically release tension, shift stagnant energy, and embody the shift they want to create in their lives.

At the end of the session there will be a group sharing for bonding, and reflection.

Attendees will leave feeling grounded, clear, and more connected to themselves and their bodies.

Benefits

  • Stress reduction and relaxation: The guided mindfulness meditation brings the nervous system out of fight-or-flight and into a state of calm, giving attendees a genuine mental reset mid or end of their working day. Employees leave feeling noticeably lighter and less reactive.
  • Improved posture and reduced aches and pains: Most corporate employees spend the majority of their day seated, leading to weakened glutes, a tight hip flexors, rounded shoulders, and persistent neck and back pain. The workout component specifically targets and strengthens key postural muscles including the upper back, core, and glutes, helping to correct imbalances caused by prolonged sitting and reduce the chronic aches that come with desk-based work.
  • Long term physical health habits: Attendees are introduced to intentional, accessible strength training that does not require a gym background. Many leave motivated to continue training independently, making this session a genuine gateway to better long term physical health rather than a one-off experience.
  • Increased self-awareness and perspective: Through structured self-inquiry and reflective questioning, attendees gain clarity on their own thought patterns, limiting beliefs, and behaviours. This kind of perspective shift improves decision making, emotional intelligence, and how people show up at work and at home.
  • Team cohesion and empathy: The shared experience of moving through vulnerability, reflection, and physical challenge together creates a sense of connection that everyday work interactions rarely produce. Teams leave with a deeper understanding and appreciation of one another.
  • Boosted confidence and motivation: The workout component is coached with intention, helping attendees experience what their bodies are capable of. Achieving something physically challenging in a group setting builds individual confidence and collective momentum that carries back into the workplace.
  • Emotional resilience: By learning to sit with discomfort during both the meditation and the workout, attendees build a practical, embodied understanding of resilience. This translates directly into how they handle pressure, setbacks, and uncertainty at work.
  • Mind-body connection and physical wellbeing: Attendees are coached to tune into their bodies rather than just go through the motions, building body awareness and a stronger mind-muscle connection that supports long term physical health and injury prevention.
  • Renewed engagement and energy: The combination of mental release and physical movement creates a tangible shift in energy. Attendees return to their desks feeling re-engaged, re-motivated, and more present, with the kind of clarity that is hard to manufacture through a standard team lunch or away day.

About the Host

I'm a Personal Trainer and therapist with 6 years of experience helping individuals and groups build lasting, healthy relationships with themselves and their bodies. My work sits at the intersection of fitness, mental health, and nutrition, and I take an integrative approach to wellness rather than treating these as separate disciplines. My sessions go beyond physical training. I work with clients to surface and shift the limiting beliefs that keep them stuck, using mindful movement (primarily strength training) as a vehicle for building body awareness, mind-muscle connection, and emotional release. Meditation and self-inquiry practices are woven throughout my work, helping people reconnect with themselves at a deeper level. I'm the founder of AZ Wellness, based in Singapore, and I work with both individual clients and corporate groups. Everything I do is built around one core idea: that long-term wellbeing starts from the inside out. As a PT and therapist, I'm well suited to a range of sessions and formats, including: – Group fitness sessions that combine strength and mindful movement, helping attendees build body awareness and a stronger mind-muscle connection. – Guided journalling workshops designed to help people meet themselves more deeply, explore limiting beliefs, and reconnect with what they truly want. Mindful meditation sessions that invite people to slow down, tune inward, and connect with different parts of themselves. Facilitated group sharing circles that create a safe, held space for people to open up, be witnessed, and feel less alone in their experiences.
