SESSION OVERVIEW

Return to BEING is a guided 120-minute session designed to help participants move from mental overload and stress into presence, clarity, and grounded awareness.

The session integrates guided reflection with somatic body awareness and gentle yoga-inspired practices to support clarity, regulation, and sustainable wellbeing.

It offers a structured yet gentle experience combining guided reflection, embodied awareness, and facilitated group dialogue. It supports participants in slowing down, reconnecting with themselves, and regaining clarity in periods of pressure, transition, or sustained responsibility.

No prior experience with mindfulness or group work is required.

 

SESSION STRUCTURE & ACTIVITIES

  1. ARRIVE – From Doing to Presence (25 minutes)

Activity:

  • Guided grounding using somatic body awareness, breathing techniques, and gentle yoga-inspired movement to support nervous system regulation and focus.
  • Brief verbal check-in (one word per participant)

Benefit:

  • Immediate stress reduction
  • Improved focus and nervous system regulation
  • Participants become mentally present and engaged
  1. REMEMBER – Reconnecting with What Matters (30 minutes)

Activity:

  • Guided reflective exercise supported by embodied awareness practices to help participants notice internal signals, emotions, and values.
  • Short individual writing reflection
  • Optional small-group or paired sharing (professionally facilitated)

Focus on values, inner motivation, and identity beyond roles

  • Increased self-awareness
  • Reconnection with purpose and intrinsic motivation
  • Greater clarity around priorities
  1. RELEASE – Letting Go of Unhelpful Patterns (25 minutes)

Activity:

  • Simple somatic release practices using breath, posture, and gentle movement to reduce mental and emotional tension.
  • Silent personal integration (no forced sharing)

  • Reduced emotional and mental load
  • Increased resilience
  • Healthier relationship with responsibility and performance
  1. RECLAIM – Moving Forward with Clarity (25 minutes)

Activity:

  • Visualization combined with grounded body awareness to support realistic, calm future orientation.
  • Individual reflection: identifying one meaningful intention or focus
  • Voluntary group sharing (short, concise, professionally held)

Benefit:

  • Renewed sense of direction
  • Increased confidence and calm decision-making
  • Participants leave with a grounded, realistic sense of next steps
  1. INTEGRATION & CLOSE (15 minutes)

Activity:

  • Group integration
  • Practical guidance on applying insights in daily work life
  • Closing grounding exercise

Benefit:

  • Insights are translated into everyday professional contexts
  • Participants leave feeling centered, clear, and supported

FACILITATION STYLE

The session is:

  • Non-therapeutic
  • Non-ideological
  • Inclusive and psychologically safe
  • Free from spiritual, religious, or esoteric language

Participants are never required to share personal details. All exercises are invitational and adaptable to individual comfort levels.

About the Host

I’ve always believed that real change begins with people — when we feel seen, trusted, and inspired, we can achieve so much more than any system or structure alone could deliver. My career has grown and became about empowering people, organizations, communities, and ecosystems to thrive together by connecting purpose, strategy, governance, and finance.

Being a monetary economist, I grew through senior roles as CIO, CEO, and Managing Director in asset management and institutional investment. I’ve learned that while numbers and frameworks matter, it’s People, Purpose, and Trust that make transformation possible. Over the past decade, my focus has grown into sustainable and nature-based finance, designing structures, funds, and governance frameworks that not only deliver results, but also nurture collaboration, transparency, and long-term resilience.

I’ve had the privilege of working on initiatives that bring together investors, communities, and regulators — from the Blue Carbon Governance Framework™️ to hybrid bonds, private equity funds, and conservation finance programs. What I love most about this work is seeing how shared purpose can unite very different perspectives, turning ambition into meaningful action for people and the planet.

Being also an executive coach and facilitator, I create safe spaces for reflection, learning, and connection — helping leaders and teams bring their best selves to the work. I believe that strong governance, empowered people, and a shared sense of purpose are the foundation of resilient organizations and lasting impact.
