Description

This is a captivating live art installation where I transform a space with the mesmerizing, meditative craft of wheel throwing. For 2-3 hours, I create beautiful ceramic forms—bowls, vases, cups—from raw clay, offering a silent, focused performance that becomes a natural focal point for conversation and wonder.

The experience includes:

  • A full, portable pottery studio set up as a living exhibit.

  • Continuous creation of multiple pieces from centering to finishing.

  • Engaging, optional commentary on the process, history, and mindfulness of the craft.

  • The possibility for guests to have a brief, guided "try-the-wheel" moment under my supervision (optional add-on).

Benefits

  • Creates a Unique Atmosphere: Provides sophisticated, living decor that elevates the event's aesthetic and cultural tone.

  • Fosters Curiosity & Conversation: Acts as a natural icebreaker and source of intrigue, encouraging organic interaction among guests.

  • Demonstrates Mastery & Focus: Offers a live example of deep concentration and skilled craftsmanship, which can be inspiring and grounding for teams.

  • Cultural & Educational Value: Connects attendees to an ancient, tangible art form, adding a layer of substance and authenticity to the event.

  • Promotes Mindfulness: The rhythmic, hypnotic nature of the process provides a passive, calming visual meditation for observers.

About the Host

1. The Wheel: Live, captivating pottery demonstrations that merge performance art with artisan skill. 2. The Workshop: Structured "clean-hands" sessions where participants carve and decorate leather-hard clay—a focused, creative, and zero-mess activity ideal for team-building. 3. The Rhythm: The resonant sounds of the Udu, a traditional clay drum, for unique sound meditation and rhythmic connection sessions. My work is rooted in creating tangible, sensory connections. Whether through shaping, decorating, or listening, I design sessions that foster presence, collaboration, and creative flow, aligning with corporate goals in wellness, culture, and development
