Description

An interactive workshop introducing the D.R.E.S.S. framework — Diet, Rest, Exercise, Stress Reduction, and Socialisation — to help participants understand the deep connection between body and mind. Using practical exercises, reflective discussions, and personalised strategies, participants learn how tending to these five pillars creates a stable internal environment for emotional regulation, resilience, and mental clarity.

This session is ideal for teams looking to boost wellbeing, resilience, and engagement, and can be adapted for client-facing roles to include strategies that support staff in high-interaction environments.


In this session participants will:

  • Understand the body-mind connection and why mental wellbeing is rooted in physical foundations

  • Explore how diet and nutrition affect mood, energy, and cognitive function, including the role of gut-brain communication

  • Learn strategies to prioritise rest and recovery, including techniques to improve sleep quality and manage mental load

  • Discover how exercise supports emotional regulation, stress recovery, and overall brain health

  • Practice stress reduction techniques, such as breathing exercises, mindfulness, and micro-breaks, to expand their window of tolerance

About the Host

I am a counselling therapist who began my career as a business consultant. My passion lies in helping people move through emotional overwhelm, stuck patterns and relational tension by translating psychological insight into reflection and practical tools that genuinely work in real life.
When I’m not in session with clients, I design wellbeing programmes and psychoeducational workshops for businesses, schools, organisations and communities. I’m particularly interested in making psychological ideas accessible, engaging and immediately usable — not abstract theory, but concepts that help people understand themselves and each other more clearly.
We spend a large part of our lives at work, yet very few of us are ever taught how to navigate its human side. I believe organisations flourish when people feel psychologically informed, emotionally aware and better equipped to handle challenge. Whether through structured workshops, one-on-one counselling, team sessions or teaching emotional first aid for moments when a colleague or client is struggling, my aim is the same: to bring clarity, steadiness and humanity into the spaces where we spend most of our time.
