Description

We start with a body scan where the participants are guided to bring the focus on their body and their breathing. Then we go through a creative writing journey defining what is home to them. Participants are encouraged to share with the group as much as little they want. The idea is that we open a conversation on where and why we feel our truly authentic selves, going through a journey of reminiscence, hope and aspirations.

Benefits

With the body scan we bring the awareness to hear and now, which decreases feelings of anxiety and stress and grounds participants to the present moment.
Is a reflective creative space where people introspect, remember and share which not only automantically reconnect with their own thoughts and emotions but whilst sharing remembering the magic of connecting, relating, empathising with others. This enhances the team building and develops a sense of community among the members.
This creative journey affects positively the individuals since during a chaotic day their thoughts and emotions are asked to be expressed and shared they feel seen and heard and this is what people need to thrive- ackowledgement, recognition and visibility.
People are being creative cause they are asked to express themselves through words or drawings which puts their imagination in motion.
They feel safe and calm there is no wrong or right answer here, being present is enough.

About the Host

I see myself as a wellbeing practitioner with an academic background as a creative facilitator, drawing on diverse forms of art to bring people together and guide them back to themselves and to one another. Over the past three years, I have worked in mental health within community services, supporting the wellbeing of young people and families. My earlier experience as a teacher gave me the ability to guide groups with structure and clarity, while my mental health expertise allows me to listen deeply to individual needs and weave them into a shared journey of creativity, self-growth, reflection, reconnection, compassion, and confidence. I view my role as that of a captain steering a ship: together we sail towards the unspoken stories that lie beneath the surface, revisiting them with kindness and gentleness, allowing creativity to be both anchor and compass.
