I am a musician, artist, and educator with over 20 years of experience inspiring audiences of all ages. I taught young children for many years, and later led family music workshops in Madrid, as well as training courses for teachers. Across all of these experiences, I’ve learned that the key to music’s impact is reconnecting people with their inner child. Whether participants are 5 or 65, the experience becomes valuable and therapeutic when it’s playful, creative, and interactive.
As a performer (under the name AmyJo Doh), I bring humor, heart, and energy to the stage. I mix original songs and playful “Spanglish” lyrics with props and instruments that invite the audience to join in. My performances can range from tongue-in-cheek and fun, to soulful and reflective — always adapted to the needs of the group.
I also perform as part of a duo with Yvonne Power (guitar + ukulele, two voices in harmony). Together we are ‘The Pipistrellas’ and deliver unique, personalized versions of classics from the 50s to the 2000s, bringing audiences from theatres to private events into the joy of live music.
