"Print & Prosecco" Clients can choose from a range of Printmaking options but the most favorite tends to be LinoPrint. There will be a range of designs - or we would source relevant design ideas if there was a theme - that clients can copy from on to a tracing paper, this is then transferred onto softcut lino, which is then cut using a cutting tool (has a variety of blade sizes to create different marks/textures). Generally we would split the venue into two separate areas: One for the cutting and general sipping bubbly, and the other into the print area, with a few print stations laid out. This comprises ink and brayers (rollers) on an acetate sheet, for ease of removal thereafter. We would usually offer a variety of ink colors to choose from. Paper is a soft sugar paper in a variety of colors and the finale is to print their design onto a fabric element - can be a cushion cover, tote bag, t-shirt, tea towel. The entire workshop takes around 3 hours. It is very fun social event, although one which could be developed into more of a Corporate style event. We have run this at festivals, hen parties and held a few for Company Christmas parties.
