Description
A session on how artificial intelligence can enable more creation, not less — moving past the hype and the anxiety to what teams can actually do with it.
What we'll do: The session opens with a short, myth-busting overview: where AI genuinely helps a creative process, where it gets in the way, and why human judgement matters more, not less. Magnus draws on his own daily use of AI across TV, stage and writing.
Participants are then guided through a live creative challenge. Working from a real brief — a concept, a story, a pitch — the group uses AI tools hands-on to move from blank page to a developed idea in minutes, with Magnus directing the process and showing the craft behind the prompts.
Each participant (or small team) leaves with a worked example of their own: an idea, story or concept they've taken from scratch to something presentable, plus a simple framework for doing it again on their own projects.
Format: Interactive, hands-on, built around live work rather than slides. Adaptable from a 30-minute taster to a 90-minute full session. Suitable for creative teams, knowledge workers and anyone whose work involves turning ideas into output. No technical background required.
Benefits
Participants leave having actually done it: taken an idea from blank page to a developed concept using AI, with the craft to repeat it on their own work. Not a demo they watched — something they made.
The session replaces the quiet anxiety many people feel about AI with practical confidence. People stop asking whether these tools threaten their work and start using them well — as a creative partner, with human judgement still leading.
For the team, the payoff is concrete: faster idea development, less time stuck at the start of projects, and a shared understanding of where AI genuinely adds value to creative and knowledge work — and where it doesn't.

About the Host
Magnus Monn-Iversen is a Norwegian creative producer, speaker and concept developer with over 20 years in TV, stage and digital media. He has led more than 100 productions from idea to launch and worked with NRK, TV2, The Norwegian National Theatre, Amazon Prime, Discovery and more.
His sessions translate professional storytelling craft into practical tools any team can use. He runs interactive workshops on creative concept development, pitching, and how to turn any project into a story that attracts an audience. He also speaks on practical AI in creative and knowledge work — what actually changes how teams produce content and ideas.
Sessions are hands-on, concrete and built around real examples rather than theory. Magnus has taught and mentored professionals across educational institutions, cultural organisations, local communities and the corporate sector, and works comfortably in both Norwegian and English.
