Workshop

Description

An interactive, guided session focused on how we make decisions in real time—especially in moments of pressure, uncertainty, or visibility.

Participants are introduced to a simple way of recognizing when they are reacting automatically (overthinking, second-guessing, tightening) versus when they are choosing more purposefully from a place of clarity and awareness.

The session centers on a practical shift that can be applied immediately:

Notice → Check → Shift

Benefits

Through guided reflection and structured prompts, participants explore a real situation they are currently navigating—such as making a decision, contributing ideas, sharing work, or responding in a challenging moment—and learn how to move from reactive thinking into a more grounded, purposeful approach.

What the experience includes:

  • A clear introduction to reactive vs purposeful thinking in everyday situations
  • Guided reflection to identify a real-time decision or moment of tension
  • A structured exercise to surface current thought patterns and recognize what is driving them
  • A simple framework (Notice → Check → Shift) that can be applied in the moment
  • Practical prompts to shift from reaction into purposeful decision-making
  • Optional paired or small group discussion to expand perspective
  • Closing reflection to identify one clear next step participants can take

The session is designed to be accessible, engaging, and immediately usable—supporting participants in making clearer, more grounded decisions across professional, personal, and creative contexts.

The benefits

  • Develop greater clarity in decision-making, especially under pressure or uncertainty
  • Recognize and interrupt reactive thinking patterns such as overthinking, hesitation, and defensiveness
  • Build a more purposeful and grounded approach to communication and action
  • Increase confidence in taking next steps without needing full certainty
  • Strengthen self-awareness in how internal states influence behavior and outcomes
  • Improve ability to navigate challenging moments (meetings, feedback, creative sharing, conflict)
  • Encourage curiosity-driven thinking, leading to more open and constructive responses
  • Support momentum by reducing hesitation and second-guessing
  • Foster a more thoughtful, engaged, and intentional mindset within teams or groups
